SUMMER READING PROGRAM 2010
FREE Online summer reading - Record your reading online! You can even write and share reviews. Sign up is online. Ask in the library if you need help creating your online account or adding to your online account.
1. 3. 1. Choose a reading club from the tabs at the top of the screen. See descriptions below:
Fall Grades K-5 - Make a Splash – Earn book bucks for every 30 minutes you read! Cash in Book Bucks for prizes in August. Fall Grades 6-12 - Make Waves – Teens earn a gift card for every 10 hours of reading (max. 5 cards per reader, while supply last) Adults – Water Your Minds – Be automatically entered for weekly prize drawing and a grand prize basket drawing for Perkiomen Valley Library readers. Click here for details.
2. Click “Sign Me Up” and create an account. Once you have an account, you’ll be able to sign in with your library card # and password.
3. Once you are signed in, you can add items to your reading log. Simply fill out the form about your reading and submit it.
Preschool Summer Reading - June 9 to August 14 Parents pick up a reading game beginning June 9. Directions are on the game. Earn up to 5 prizes for with your child.
Summer Reading Meetings – attend when you can Fall Grades 1-5, Tuesdays, July 6 to August 3 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Enjoy book discussion, play games and make a fun craft. Click here for weekly details.
